Even the folks who you might want to rent were either not financially qualified, credit scores below 550, or had criminal records.So far, I have not found Waterbury to be viable for investing in real estate, for short term projects.I swore not to buy another one in Waterbury, however, one of the contractors I hired, has asked me to partner with him on some multi-family homes, but I am not convinced.

The research I did was through the county records - which fortunately are free here in Galveston County, TX and then the criminal records in Harris County, TX based on the Case # in the lien.

The system is linked with the NYPD to verify any criminal activity or fines that may hinder us getting those licenses or when something occurs on the job, they'll know whom they're coming after. :-) Every job must be bonded or in a Home Trust escrow through the Dept. of Consumer Affairs.
