Out of curiosity, are there other options for you that have different/fewer hours but still let you keep making the higher per hour wages of medicine?

how do you know how much principal you have accrued after putting 20% down?

For January through October I will be accruing this expense even though I won't pay it until November.

I’m using the GI bill so I’m not accruing student debt.

Interest will continue to accrue on a smaller principal amount beyond the five years.If I go with paying down the mortgage option and do a cash out refi, I will have to pay closing costs, which also complicates the equation.
