When they movied out, no one wanted to clear out/clean any of the common areas. basically they moved out 1 by 1 throughout the month, and the last one was left with a bunch of junk in which most of it wasnt his, so it got left behind. 

Is it ok for landlords to take a movie-in fee instead of a sec deposit?

That or somehow start a bikini car wash so when I fail there can at least be a radical 1980s rock track and movie montage. 

The draw of watching a movie is strong, but I know if I give in, I'll feel like I wasted my day.

And the current TV/Movie production drop due to Covid has affected SoCal more, but that's still a very small percentage of LA jobs.
