Seems like a lot of Orlando area folks I know have hunting or camping property up there.   

This is not an 'overnight success' kind of job. 

and as the days go by the competition gets tougher in that end of the business as you have the ra ra wholesaling is great camp  the gurus teaching the mass's  like snap slip Sperber and others.. and this is why you have to be a marking master to make any money at this and have some pretty good capital to spend on it.. its not a scheme that many can actually do with little to no money and its for sure not a long term occupation for many .. 

Hi Jason - I would camp out at the library and read real estate books, search for a room to rent on Craigslist.

But I've heard investors mention losing millions of net worth overnight  (even the ones who bought at 70% ARV) just because the property comps dropped instantly and they were over-leveraged and were underwater on mortgages. 

The people making these fruitless offers fall into 1 of 2 camps.

If you don't know what to look for you are not going to learn it overnight.

Success rarely happens overnight in any industry. 

My personality is such that I’m cynical about any guru or paid boot camp but I’m sure others here have had good experiences.I’m happy to meet for coffee, etc if helpful and in the greater Boston area.A few groups I’m aware of are Ocean City out of Wakefield and Brownstone AG and there are always the homeVestors (we buy ugly houses) folks. 

I want to get more active on BP to inspire some of you young entrepreneurs out there, and to share some the knowledge that I've acquired over the last few years of doing this full time and growing my real estate business from absolutely nothing. but first...I want everyone reading to understand that this does not happen overnight...
