Hi @Sumit B.To start off, Cape Coral does have a 7 day rental minimum, however, this is an ordinance that pre-dates the STR industry and was originally targeting transient housing. 

Starting a hard money lending company makes sense to me since I have hundreds of contacts in this business that I've built relationships for years, as well as it aligns with my origination background. 

What credit score do you anticipate tenants having?

Compare origination fee and rate mostly.  

I have a US credit score, US bank accounts and some US-based income, but my paychecks are not.

I have really good income & have good credit -middle score is 768. 

The note investor who thought interest is paid on the original principal rather than the unpaid principal balance.  

Is origination costs makes you select the Lenders?

Your credit score needs to stay relatively the same from application to closing. 

And when a rising tide is lifting all boats, groups that amplified their results by using risky high leverage could score some massive returns until the music stopped, then will subsequently struggle to keep the rest of their portfolio out of foreclosure.
