I did a little 1000 sf building in the middle of Wyoming and did a cost estimate on cmu, precast and insulated concrete forms (fox block) and cmu was cheaper by far. 

@Catherine Coy  however to be fair and balanced like Fox news I did have one client that has done very well and he credits his Lindal course.. but that was years ago.

I am just down the river from you, in Batavia and am looking for distressed single family properties in the fox valley area.I looked at a property last week you may be interested in, numbers didnt pan out for a buy and hold but may be worth running them for a fix & flip.
