Oftentimes, if FNMA doesn't get a bid they want to accept, they'll lower the price (sometimes lower than the bids they received) just to try to drum up competition and get a higher offer.

It is definitely an improvement over the vinyl flooring they were using ;-) The wood floors were previously painted, we sanded them with a drum sander and filled the really bad cracks.

A relative in the biz in another state says that the VA will store this appraisal so I may as well pass on other VA offers.Using a MLS Listing Service – Given the enthusiasm and interest I received without widely marketing the property, I am considering going this route, at least for a couple weeks, to see what kind of business I can drum up on my own.

I have no issue at all with members drumming up business, I do have an issue with making comments that mislead newbies, speaking as to what is ethical or legal in some other state or who won't have an issue with what.

I also use Craigslist and Postlets (which posts to several websites, including Craigslist).If you accept Section 8 renters, www.gosection8.com is decent, but not sure if it's free for full potential use.I like to have some sort of move-in special if I'm really looking to drum up extra attention.
