Also find out from each city and empowerment zones, along with Chamber of Commerce what is planned in the area.

Sometimes I will put a call into the local chamber of commerce to get a pulse on the business community

A recent census or the chamber of commerce will have this info, but a quick and dirty way of gauging this is to look at the cost of a one-way truck rental from Penske or U-haul.
