A licensed master gas tech fixed the stove for $50. 

I don't want to deal with property managers, let alone tenants who will get on my nerves by failing to pay rent or demanding a new stove, refrigerator, window, HVAC and etc., and breaking the drywall and kitchen cabinets with sledgehammer if I evict them for non-payment of the rent.

However, the space is considered non habitable if the oven/ stove is removed and the gas line is capped. 

I would need to add plumbing for the kitchenette sink and electrical for appliances but I'm not sure if my breaker has enough room for another 240v for the stove. 

They tried to trick me out of $450 because the new tenant did not know how to turn on the new stove.

I've seen some comments state that it's all about the kitchen - only a small kitchenette with no stove is allowed (which would be perfectly fine).

Do you think it's rentable without a stove or fridge?

I redid a galley kitchen using ikea cabinets and I ended up paying more than 5k in materials (oven, stove, dishwasher, refrigerator, cabinets, countertops, backsplash, sink, faucet) That was before the pandemic.

This has become a best practice for all of our homes now regardless of their location.Same in Oregon 10 year and in bedrooms and hallways plus any room with any type of gas stove or firelace etc.

Do you have heat, water, stove/oven that work, a safe unit?
