One rental(two units) just finishing renovations and spent 15-20k of my own money so saving will be easier soon instead of loading my credit card then paying it all off every month.

I have them process credit card payments.

Can I just try to cancel the card?

The masterminds often encourage students to finance the new-car like entrance fees on a credit card, on the promise of just a single deal covering all the entrance costs. 

For now, my immediate goal is to pay off all of my credit card debt (should be accomplished by February 1.), and continue to educate myself on NOI, Cap rate, cash-on -cash return etc.BP community, I am open-minded, willing to take initiative, always willing to be taught something new, but also ready to share any experience or knowledge I have that can help someone else. 

Look at it more like a credit card.

The majority of investments is a game of "race to the bottom" and "who holds the cheaper debt" card. 

Some will be ok in 2nd position and some will not and force you to refinance out the first - but those are options that are probably cheaper than credit cards 

@Jemini LeckieIf investing locally is not in the cards I would do some research and pin point a market that fits what you are looking for and then reach out in the forums for that specific market and ask more detailed questions.
