They started a rumor they might ban the export of rare earth minerals to the US.

There is a rumor out there that property values can't go up forever.

Rumor is they are 47 controllers short (although I think ~29 new ones are about to come on or something) and we can't get our VFR mini-route back until they re-stock the tower :) I teach flying out of Santa Monica. 

Hi, I  bought my home(Bayonne, NJ) around Dec 12 ,2016, tax for 1st quarter 2017 was already paid by previous owner, so I paid that amount in closing of home then for the remaining 3 quarters I paid via Escrow account later as part of mortgage installment. so when I got 1098 for year 2017 from my mortgage company it includes taxes for 3 quarters only, not the 1st quarter.so I how to get 1098 for 1st quarter of 2017                     also I have paid all taxes for entire year of 2018 in advance directly to city hall in Dec 2017 due to various news/rumors about federal tax changes on property taxes, so how I will get 1098 for year 2018 and when I can claim that, in 2017 or 2018, when I advance paid tax city hall have accessed for 2 quarters only, so paid twice of whatever they accessed for two quarter...Thanks

I keep hearing mild rumors there are cash flow options down there, but so far no one has actually been able to show anything.

What are some incentives for the seller to sell to me for 250k vs listing for 300k which is what they've rumored they want.  

The government has subsidized these food premiums for years, but every year one hears rumors of the subsidy being lifted. this is the REAL scare of purchasing any property that is not on stilts.  

From my experience some investors fear "the rumor" that Miami will go under water,  others fear that zoning laws will change down the road and the  laws will be different,  some are afraid the current "airbnb qualified " properties might not allow short term rentals in future. 

I've done it for 20 years, it's not as lethal as the rumor has it.
