Just walk away if you sense they won't let you investigate any aspect of the property you wish to.

They will investigate and see if any rules were violated.

Brian B does a little investigation to find out that this GP had basically zero experience in the space yet took down a 50 mil dollar apartment in Houston ( not sure how they talked lenders into that one) but there is 10 mil in investor money that got wiped out as Brian showed this investor that the property went to foreclosure and reverted to the bank ( no one bid it).

Looks like Paramount is under Federal investigation for having failed to make agreed payments.

@Jay Hinrichsso I get a call from someone today “what do I do” my money is tied up because the sec is investigating this company (one referenced above not ahp) hmm I would have never guessed someone would look into an offering which was giving 40%+ return….
