I work with numerous out of state investors that want to purchase here in Cincinnati and expand their portfolio.

So on numerous occasions, I have expressed my concerns about staying within my budget.Now on top of this, the property manager let the pipes freeze and they leaked and the boiler also cracked which I was told to file an insurance claim.

I invested 6 figures about a year ago, and only got one distribution and that was only after numerous calls and emails. 

If one were to look at the list of portfolio properties presented on various syndicator websites and think that the syndicator listing them was the one that found, secured, purchased and asset managed all the listed properties, then one might arrive at an inaccurate conclusion for numerous syndicators.

My question is: how do you do that and comply with Dodd Frank, which imposes numerous regulations if you finance more than 3 properties per year to consumers who will reside in those properties?  

I see it more a knowledge and exposure thing, reality vs perception.
