I have the feeling you already have an angle Jason, but in my area, found out about this at the beginning because the banks are using my suppliers for much of it (kind of flattering, says I networked my rehab people well).

Don’t get rid of upper cabinets - open shelving is not a better option in a kitchen, because there is no place to hide the mess of boxes, bottles, bags, etc, which are not visually flattering.  

While the flatter markets offer less opportunities for appreciation, they also provide greater insurance against large drops in the event of corrections.

I find that using warm soft flattering colors that I use in my own home work well for me to attract a higher-end tenant. 

Everybody wants a duplex but you might not be flattered by the options available.

As mentioned previously, check with established self-storage operators, if they are proud of their facility (or by flattering them) they should at least give some of their occupancy information to you. 

I suppose there could be an unfortunate mismatch of an eviction of his reasonably common name on his side of town (3 miles from his job in a large city), but he also wasn't on his roommates lease now and his explanation of why he and his roommate were moving just sounded off.It seemed too good to be true- admirable charitable job, nice car, same week move in, easy going, polite, flattering.

How much more - no idea. but, the next recession is going to look a lot flatter than the last one, I would think...
