The continental divide also acts as an infrastructure hub bridging California and the mid-west ("back east" to many Utahns).  

Likewise, if ice were able to form on the roadways of south-central Florida, it would likely be more devastating than anywhere else in the continental United States.

When, I move back to the continental US, I'd be more willing to pursue other avenues such as flipping, when I could readily be in STL more.
