Pick up trash, clean ac condenser coils, check all cabinet pulls for tightness, lubricate door hinges and make sure security devices work properly.

Coils were frozen so he had to defrost the coils.

See if outsiders compressor coils are dirty.

You can also have issues with an AC coil freezing if you don't have proper air flow.

It ALWAYS needed the coils cleaned (I had a Golden Retriever and she loved the sound of the exhaust to sleep by) I learned to get every spec of dust and dog hair away myself but still it didn't last too long.

I just had to buy a rotary hammer and bits to do a job yet have several other tools like flooring nailer or planer I rarely use.  

Also it appears you need to have your evaporator coil replaced due to door missing and large gap at the base of coil box. 

Had a A/C compressor failure and need a certified A/C tech to replace the compressor and coil.
