People have suggested Royal Oak and areas around it however I've struggled to find properties in my price range in that area.

That being said, I royally torched my credit and my savings over the past few years. 

If you came at the beginning of the month over Labor Day you could have stopped by the American Royal BBQ competition and sampled BBQ Saturday.  

If you don't mind living a little outside of the city, Ferndale and Royal Oak are great places to look, especially for young professionals.

While I would love a place in a more desirable area, the numbers just don't work for places like Ferndale, Royal Oak, Livonia, and the like.

Amazing enough that I bought the PRO membership and I believe enough in the tools and network provided by BP that it will allow me to succeed in my pursuit of financial independence.And, I believe it has allowed me to see that I might be royally screwed on my rehab/flip property I am working on.
