What are peoples experiences with PTAC and Mitsubishi units?

Are you using a mitsubishi multizone ductless system?   

We had Mitsubishi mini splits in an old live in flip and they worked quite well for us. 

The last one I did was actually my primary residence where I put in two Mitsubishi hyper heat pumps 1.5 ton each at each end of the house.

i have a basement where i used cassette mini split which throws air in all 4 directions as its a long 20ftX40ft space. in the other adjacent room i placed a wall mounted split. both of them have one condenser unit outside with a heat pump. its easy to maintain but its double the cost of the typical HVAC unit. for me a typical 1.5 ton unit costs around 6k unit and duct and labor. but with the ceiling mounted 4 way and wall mounted one way Mitsubishi costed me around 12k.

They cost a bit more, but can run efficiently down to much colder temperatures than their conventional models.Look at Mitsubishi Hyper-heat, Fujitsu Halcyon, etc.

Mitsubishi are the best but expensive then Fujitsu/LG.  

Mitsubishi mini splits are always nice or a Trane.

We got a quote for replacing the 2 gas furnaces, capping off 3rd floor ducts, and installing a Mitsubishi mini split system in the 3rd.
