I guarantee you don't have the right to "sell" that property as you've done because the bank has a lien against that deed which must be paid if/when you sell, and you almost guaranteed to have language that you are supposed to notify the mortgagor if/when you sell the property so that they can exercise their due on sale clause. 

We've rented out some of our best investment properties (New Construction/Turnkey) to Sec 8 residents, and the rent guarantee always helps in achieving consistent cash flow each month.

Rents are obscene in my area near Traverse City.  1br1ba's are pretty much a guaranteed 1k a month.

Although I know most sec 8 landlords use it because of the perception of guaranteed rents.As a small home builder I really dont know how they are going to lower the cost of new construction housing unless the govmit subsidizes it somehow.. basically the price of home components are very sticky they only go up. with the xception of lumber that will go  up and down through out the year..

Just because someone has a voucher doesn't guarantee we will accept them.
