We set goals beside every number we made like buying a retreat center for the ministry we run, providing monthly income for our parents, taking college students to international ministries we support to show them the world and its needs are much bigger than them (CAN I GET AN AMEN?!).

I'd like to buy a plot out by Clio to drop a couple of small cabins on to open up a couple's counseling retreat (my wife is a psychologist) and being able to drop lots of buildings quickly may be handy.

This is especially true if you're headed to a high tax state (which is unlikely if you are retreating from CA).* You pay for and do no repairs on your place.* YOU'RE NOT STUCK!

There seems to be huge interest in small dwellings, minimalist living, and just creating small "retreats" in one's own backyard.

I have been to 70 countries or so, and really love seeing how places evolve, and coming up with ideas for how to create cool spaces -- mainly for short-term rentals, retreats, ecotourism, etc.Any advice for you experts out there?
