You have the US-style standard properties that only the foreigners and wealthy and upper middle-class Mexicans can afford and buy.

Wealth is created in long term buy & hold.

To build wealth, I would look at all venues. 

The last thing you want is to sell a great deal before you see any returns out of it thinking you'll turn into a wealthy BRRRR investor, only to find out you're not in the right market for that strategy. 

Refinance your SFR you live in to capitalize on the equity, reduce your payment because mortgage rates are so low right now, and take the capital and go invest it to create more income/wealth. I

Not sure what technology they need to be versed with, but if you're just talking about using Venmo or Zelle to pay rent, they're probably more up to date than more wealthy people in Frisco. 

It starts with a choice, that willing to do what is required to be wealthy, to pay that wealth price, put in the work, short term pain for long term gain.

I'm not sure what the point of building wealth is if I have to get rid of one of the biggest reasons I want to be successful!

and in certain areas petty crime can be just as bad as any of the C/D class areas of other cites.But bottom line for me  can self manage A class tenants  maintenance super easy  and appreciation which is where wealth is garnered if your just running a small portfolio like myslef.
