Make sure to do an in depth analysis  for past 5 years of the neighborhood as to how many appreciated and do a comp with the one you are trying to buyHave a strategy to do Value add example kitchen remodeling , have  good references for contractorsAttend a  REI meetup in that area and also scour Facebook groupsHave an exit strategy in place in case things go slightly south

You can remodel the entire property in our market for less. 

And so far only maintenance is an elevator "remodel" not fully replace but replacing what is needed.

The majority of my work is full shower demo/remodel/new tile install.

Value is being added to this deal by a full gut rehab and remodel of the current layout.

Or would not bother to report a leaky toilet flapper. 

We have a lot of experience remodeling homes and building new homes but we want to get rid of the middle man.

We have found that remodeling kitchens and bathrooms don't see the same ROI as amenities, stand out design and furnishings, etc.

I imagine all of these units are going to require pretty extensive remodeling.
