I don't have any building experience...would a builder be interested in taking on a project this size in your opinion?

Do you have an INTAKE FORM - a form with questions to ask - a form that will lead you to the amount of equity (your profit)?

I crawl through attics, stand up in hvac intakes and all that good stuff.  

People that are only interested in taking your money come out of the woodwork.  

I wouldn't go in until the lease expired, if you do go in, take someone else in with you as you can be responsible for anything missing!

It can be daunting and a lot of hard work, but as you learn, you will become better equipped to handle each hurdle.So in taking care of high maintenance tenants, my 1st thought is to always remember that they are people and bridges.
