From the menu above you can get the books 'How to invest with little or no money down' and 'The book on flipping' as well as podcasts and webinairs and you'd be a fool not to start with those kinds of things.I personally would not invest far from home again and unless you're thinking of a turnkey investment with lots of referrals, I'd reconsider leaving yourself open to getting ripped off when you don't even know it.And then you might have fun too.

I have 2 houses I bought with finished basements ,  the only way to find out if there were cracks or bows in the walls would have been to rip out the drywall .

If it is say several hundreds of dollars expect to get your *** thrown out of court with nothing after the judge rips you a new one for being predatory.While I agree you have to enforce your (legal) lease, however sometimes you can't see the forest for the trees.

@Sue Deng  please take no offense.. however If you do not even understand this basic question.. and folks in foreclosure are under EXTREME duress and stress how is someone like you remotely going to help them.. other than for your own self serving gratification.to come on BP and ask this question just floors me personally.. the blind leading the desperate and this usually leads to those your trying to rip equity form to end up just losing their house.
