I moved to miami and it's tough to do here columbus land is cheap. lower than lenders even require our buyers have to come up with additional equity just to close the loan. not sure austin's economics but happy to look at a case study with you to see if it's feasible

DBIt depends on your goals, but generally, a long-term rental should ideally provide a solid return on investment beyond just breaking even.

(Again, ask the bank.)These days I lean toward flips (which is unusual for me) but if the numbers show it cash flows all in with a 7% loan, then sure.
