They take up so much space and look horrible, especially when I'm trying to maximize rents. 

We never hired a management company, as it was not cost effective with rent we have been charging and it is only one house.Another question: If I do wait til Fall 2019 to sell, should I rip the carpet (up the stairs, living room hallways, bonus and bedrooms—2600sf house) and leave floors bare, (it’s light colored, horrible carpet) to allow buyers to add their own?

Ecorse and River Rouge are extremely sketchy areas with very low income, horrible schools, and higher crime rates. 

For those of us in the weeds here in NY things are kinda bad but not horrible. like I said things are selling now about 5 to 10% lower then before and now there are some 5% drops and no bidding wars, but people are buying at the right price

I am having so much trouble finding contractors in the area that I am investing, it is horrible.

The biggest issues have been (1) they had a HORRIBLE agent and (2) the property had a bit of repairs to be done for city compliance.They got rid of their realtor and only want to deal with the buyer.

The property is just in horrible shape and I want to clean it up and use it for agricultural purposes.

I am way out of state and the property manager I have is horrible. 

I wanted to spoil her because her life was horrible physically and mentally. 

Just know that those D&I folks will make a horrible top assistant for someone like you because they have the same weaknesses you do!
