Disappoints.

This was the only disappointment, but I’m obviously not complaining.After completing that $5k of work - paint, floors in one room, new appliances in one unit - we rented out the property and it’s currently fully occupied.

The venue itself I was a little disappointed in.

I could be completely wrong I read "disappointment" more than "whining" in your post.The realtors here are right, they are independent, the need to have a good monetary return on their time, and they can approach their business however they want.

Sellers are back to earth, over listing and getting disappointed.

I am extremely curious (and disappointed) about why she didn't report it in the first place!

You don't want to rehab the whole place, have it look fantastic, and then have buyers be a little disappointed when they see the appliances.  

If you think there are short-cuts to building wealth, you're going to be disappointed.
