The code explains in detail what “in the business” means, but for most people the one that matters is (in summary) making 8 or more loans in a calendar year from the person’s own funds to the public. 

Living intentionally with our calendars have been our saving grace.

It’s a city event, but they don’t have anyone on BP, so I added to the BP calendar.

Does a 30-Day notice on January 31 mean tenancy ends at the end of February, or are you obligated to wait until the end of March due to the calendar?
