Had scatter sets of assets and a couple of fractured developments.

Owning these small multifamily scattered all over the place is not much different than single family homes, accept all the troubles that come with people sharing walls.

For small multi near UNLV, scattered 4plexes and small apartment complexes.

An 8-50 unit multifamily can be managed (or hire someone to manage) so much easier than 8-50 single family homes scattered throughout a city (or worse yet, throughout multiple cities).I also feel that both rents and prices of single family homes are getting more and more out of reach for the average person. 

A very powerful tool to move from scattered ownership and higher maintenance into a larger better returning property that is also hopefully lower maintenance.  

For years we have been away from all our properties which are scattered across the nation in no small part due to my military career from which I just retired. 

Aloha,As a great example, years ago I was probably managing around 100 scattered site section 8 housing, in addition to some 600 average rentals.

i drive very little each year...around 6-7k miles and that's to all properties and work (full time job).i figured i made around 1000 miles and that's what i claim. i never keep track of that stuff. i go to HD 3-5 times a day (yes, ADD or scatter brain, who knows), so i can't keep up with a "log book".

I literally want to be in and out of the property in 12 months so that I can move onto the next one.I see a lot of scattered information on this concept but haven't found anything linear to get me from A to B.
