I know I'm probably in the minority here, but reality is that your are 100% broke. 

Also, when they broke up all the numbers for the deal, they broke it down for what the apartments COULD rent for and not what they are ACTUALLY renting for (was about $10,000 less at the end of the year).

We found out the person on the lease broke up with her boyfriend and moved out.

It is a no-brainer business (you never see them go broke) and some states allow tremendous profit potential (FL allows 304% APR).

I'm pretty sure a domestic dispute was behind the broken window, as any sane person would have called the police immediately upon finding out someone broke into her home.
