I’ll be honest it’s not clear to me real estate is necessarily a better investment than say the stock market, certainly not a bad investment but not as hyped as some people make it, you need to decide how much owning your own home is worth to you & also how long you plan to be in the area, if you will be here for the foreseeable future, bite the bullet and buy, if your not sure where you will be in a few years, renting might make more sense.

Even if you have an absolutely solid home and its worth over 600k, in my area the most you can rent it for is $4000 MAX.

If it’s the only one, it might be worth negotiating rather than holding onto a property that will bleed cash every month.

A house that's similar, but 10% larger than another usually isn't worth 10% more.

Beyond trying to connect on this forum would recommend look in the BP Meet up section and checking out local DFW FB RE investor Facebook groups as well as Meetup.com and Eventbrite for local events. 

Whether it applies or not it's always a good idea to check with a professional first so thanks for the reply.

Depending on the size of your portfolio and what you're doing in real estate, it may or may not be worth it setting up all these entities.I don't run any other businesses.
