The market is fairly transparent and ton of resources for due diligence, but I do know that foreigners do have tax issues to be wary of - need to structure entities the right way.

Transparency and having a seamless and established system of contracting and closing are key to making the agent feel comfortable working with you.

I am not a lawyer so this is not legal advice, but if a contract has a clause that states the contract can be assigned, and you have been transparent with the seller regarding your role as a wholesaler than you should be covered.

If FB is reading and they are legit, and they want to improve, my advice is tone down the high pressure sales closing tactics (pitch level is fine, just have some ethics about closing it) and provide better transparency to what you are selling.

Obviously all actors never have complete access to information, but the more transparently a market operates and the more information is available to all actors in the market, the more efficient a market is.  

My point here is, that when an industry that you are doing business with doesn't want to offer transparancy of what they are providing, then something is fishy.
