That will have to change or there will need to be a big fat disclosure from the listing agent that they are in no way representing the buyer even though they are writing the contract and handling all the inspections and such.

I have not used an agent before, and I've heard mixed things about that.My personal strategy has been to make up small business cards or flyers and then have somebody place those in the areas where my tenants are likely to be, such as local grocery stores, laundromats, restaurants, and so on.

Retain a real estate attorney or title company and I'm getting pretty much the same representation as with a buyer's agent.If anything, I see this as a threat to buyer's agents, who may well find themselves disintermediated like travel agents and neighborhood stationery stores.

And, as pointed out, disability is insurance through the social security system, it's not a giveaway that politicians like to claim to fire up that workingman ethic pitting people against each other for political gains.If I owned an ice cream store I'd certainly sell to anyone having the money, same with RE, if they qualify, they get it. :)
