Will the jays train people on what to avoid?

Boom.I take this tact on many high priced or specialty or design items, like countertops, light fixtures, appliances, large glass or window replacements, mechanical anything, etc….Contractors have their preferred suppliers who they know and are reliable, but are not always the best deal.

Ask to see their training room. 

I have 3 VAs that make cold calls for me and I found that because I had started doing my own cold calling I was able to train them and advise them properly on how I wanted them to handle specific scenarios.

Their specialty seems to be "the dogs of the dogs" on dog day afternoon!

At this point, you could look into getting a real estate license and/or getting experience in construction/rehab by working for a contractor who is willing to train you. 

When it comes to buying real estate training courses (presuming they are legitimate and no scams) there is tons of evidence that they work.

Different professional groups (such as narpm.org) can give you amazing training for that.If you are supposed to be supervised prior to you becoming a broker, maybe working with a sales company as a broker- associate would be the right way to go.
