Take that first step and don't sit on the sidelines.

Reading everybody's stories and learning about all the different ways to invest can be quite invigorating - one can only sit on the sidelines and absorb information for so long , before it's time to go out and put it to the test.

I know a good cash flowing property is hard to pass up.... but the market seems on the cusp of some volatility and it's keeping my sidelined, for now.The market seems to have been driven by free money and foreign dollars looking for a safe hiding place... cough cough China.  

I'm glad you decided to no longer sit on the sidelines while others make use of real estate investing opportunities.

Short of buying my own primary residence I have not been able to get involved in real estate investing, but recently speaking to a relative, who is active in real estate and referred me to BiggerPockets, has motivated me to get off the sidelines and get in the game.

Are investors more willing to shift money into hard assets like real estate or is the "fear" right now keeping them on the sidelines?

I'll check it out.I hate thinking that I am standing on the sidelines and not getting in the game, so I completely agree with you posed question.
