:Wow... this is crazy... if this goes thru, property price will drop for sure, becasue no one would want to landlords, which eventually would drive up rental price...Don’t understand why people can be so stupid...It's because the politicians think the words "Rent Control" will get them more votes.

Unfortunately this legislation has been held up in committee for over 15 years by politicians who care more about their personal interests than those of the American people so we have to continue waiting for real, meaningful tax reform.

BGE has a "Legislative Liaison" who elevate complaints/concerns from members of the General Assembly - you probably won't be surprised at how much quickly your issue gets addressed when it comes from a politician whose job it is to regulate BGE.

The local culture is mainly gunfire and English a a second language, if at all.Now, I do think it's evil for large developers to use their power to buy politicians to gain property thru eminent domain - that's supposed to be for public good, not for a developer's pocket.

The homeless are everywhere, the politicians worry more about fighting trump than local issues, we have a state school (evergreen) out of control, have a light rail tax that is basicly making us spend billions on a toy train set that will barely help our ridiculous trafic, the war on land lords, the gang war going on in south king county, etc...

I had an issue where one of the directors of a foreign foundation that was a part owner of one of the companies that was investing in my deal (see, like three levels up the chain of ownership) had the same name as a politician in that country, but we were able to clear it up.
