Without a SSN, I'm not sure what the background check would pick up.

We own four of our sober living homes and rent the other four from landlords (we picked up a few more since my last post).

The low hanging fruit has already been picked.  

However, as others have mentioned, they can be hard to find.It’s important to know that a financial advisor who works with real estate investors isn’t just there to pick stocks or sell products.

I’ll likely close on the property around early November and it will need small cosmetic updates, maybe a new deck, and of course new furniture set up.

The rent declines in the market are temporary until the new supply gets absorbed and demand picks back up.

So how many have you picked up, and how's it going ? 

And as you mentioned, you can also pick higher risk deals that have higher IRR.

Hey @Anne Christensen - Having been on both sides of real estate meetups (attending and hosting), I can tell you they're absolutely worth your time if you pick the right ones. 

Seems like a cashflow only market, so picking a neighborhood that can get decent tenants is a must.
