Why do you think the federal government regulates and investigates businesses like this?

I’m not saying the tenants and the government are out to screw you, but they’re not on your side.

Firstly, various government policies and programs aimed at promoting homeownership can sustain or increase these rates, even amidst rising prices and interest rates.

What you are proposing makes perfect sense thus it's too complicated for the government and could interfere with your next rent payment.

When I was working in local government I once filled in a guy's yard with concrete that kept digging up our water line and stealing water.

I can only assume there's a learning curve that comes with it, and since an average builder wouldn't be quite familiar with IFCs, I can also assume that municipalities that govern them wouldn't be familiar with that either causing a slow influence.

At least with oxford house -- the house is self governing meaning house officers make sure all utilities and rent are paid on time. 

Just curious for those of you who moved to a no state income tax area, like Nevada or Washington, is the government making up for the lack of revenue in another way?
