Long story short something happened with that communication and the company never dissolved the LLC now he is fighting them over $2,000 in late fees and other charges that he just got slapped with for not properly renewing or dissolving it. 

Against popular believe you wont have to fight them, if they are objectivley off.

But given the owner has been fighting off this foreclosure for nine years they seem unlikely to play ball.

If she fights you the fees run about $1500 but less than that if she doesn’t fight.In the meantime, play by the rules don’t make any mistakes and don’t get emotional.
