I read an article online that even if you register your LLC out of state, you will still need to register the LLC at your local state as Foreign LLC (and you end up paying fees for both states).

If I could not attend a first time buyer's inspection on an iffy house I would most likely trade in a favor for another agent to be there, for questions for my buyer's, or to give me feedback...our market's "first time homes" are getting higher and higher priced = lesser and lesser affordable homes... fully believe it's our fiduciary responsiblity to help our clients in foreign territory!

It also is helpful to have a California LLC in case you ever sell that property and move into another state so that you do not need to form a new LLC altogether with new operating agreement, just re-register in the new state as a new foreign LLC.Obtaining a loan in an LLC can be difficult, but not impossible.
