If you want to do medium term furnished then I would be looking at properties near Mayo Clinic and other hospitals. 

Day job now is clinical research in a big pharma company.

While I am only human I have noticed direct correlation between the absence of sugar and high levels of motivation, energy, and daresay optimism; adversely I've noticed that high levels of sugar consumption, especially in daytime hours, lead to horrible crashes of energy, motivation, and daresay depression (not necessarily clinical depression but certainly depressed attitude or state of mind).  

I was surprised because I had assumed it would be Cleveland given the huge draw of Cleveland Clinic and all its facilities.

The US saw a smallish outbreak in New York, that put a strain on their healthcare system and taxed their ability to perform routine clinic functions, routine surgeries, and other roles.

Lake Erie is a huge resource and the both the Cleveland Clinic and (case western) university hospitals are world class medical facilities.

I still see it as 'lost money' that I don't get to spend now, but enough clinical colleagues have convinced me to do it.

All are welcome, park your ragged RV in front of my house, shoot up in a monitored clinic, pitch a tent wherever, hell, start a drug cartel, its all ok.  

I'm not taking lightly your depression comments, but could it be a case of you being sick and tired of getting nowhere rather than clinical depression?

My wife is a clinic manager, I am more than well aware of all the aspects and facts of covid, including supported original efforts to flatten the curve, that made sense and was important, since then it is a former VP Dick Cheney said "don't let any crises go to waste", and gone into a whole different place.
