As was the case I handed my home depot to the gut helping me and a check for a 1000 this is two montjhs later some drywall and wiring and one rubber hose.. a real long story but allot of painting and caulking caulking everywhere and everything..so instead of getting my kitchen cabinets and the stove, venting micro and dw..He bought the goods to tile a shower and more a few thousand this was the charming cheapy cabinest and descent stove and dishwasher..anyway ..

In fact, when low income tenants leave, they USUALLY leave a refrigerator and all the cabinets FULL OF FOOD (along with their never used broom and vacuum cleaner)!

If you are looking to be able to list your home at a higher price (but not way off the markets price), a few things you can do that make a difference without spending thousands of dollars are:Fresh paint (in and out)New Carpet, flooring (tile, wood laminate, etc.)New Fixtures (ceiling fans, lights, kitchen and bathroom fixtures).New Blinds or window treatments.Paint Kitchen Cabinets - or buy new.New AppliancesLittle things like this can make a big difference, especially in an older home.Good Luck.

lolOne that comes to mind is a house we had where the owners just had to save every single piece of reading material they ever had, newspapers and magazines stacked to the ceiling and apparently they had serious OCD becuse I swear there was literally about 500 bars of soap in the bathroom, looks like they got about 10uses out of each then just kept it and the cabinets were filled with stacks and stacks of new bars!

Still got to 2nd coat paint interior and get cabinets and wood floors in next..So like anyone said, ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN...I wanted to finish by 8/1.Now I hope for 9/1 to relist and sell before winter hits...Best of luck...
