Property was a perfect match to accommodate 2 units as it had 2 separate entrances, 2 driveways and 2 AC unitsIn an up & coming LA neighborhood How did you find this deal and how did you negotiate it?

If possible readjust your schedule or send someone to accommodate their availability.  

. - On the scheduled day to shut down water to the building, the community plumber shows up 35 mins late only to say that he cannot accommodate the shut off because it would require 8 buildings to be shut down and PM only notified 1 building because she didn’t know better.

Unfortunately, the seller cancelled the contract because they were unable to secure other housing accommodations.

We'd hate to buy a property that can not accommodate our vehicle (s) or have to spend money on getting the bottom 75% of the driveway with asphalt or concrete.

I will have to look into this further to see what happens, but I imagine if you were provided a separate address for the separate suite, they will accommodate the  garbage resources for it as well.

The only way I could completely protect myself against unlawful discrimination would be to apply to houses and say there’s no pets then request accommodation before signing the lease.

That conversation should give you a better idea of whether they intend to comply or hold over.Side Note: I will never allow a post settlement occupancy to accommodate a tenant - next time just schedule settlement for after their lease is over.

I’m under the impression that the law pertains only to those with the disability (which I’m happy to accommodate for), not for the animal itself.
