My home owners insurance won't umbrella insure my 3 Maryland properties because they can't insure my Florida properties.Anyone know of an insurance company that can do this deal for a reasonable amount of money?

Now, someone trying to rob the place is one of those things that can't be predicted, but mitigated.Having said that your general and or business umbrella policy should cover the loss of life, mine does up to 1M for injury and 2M for death.Between the lawyer and insurance agent, you should be unassailable, not to mention your veil from your LLC.Thank you for sharing this with the form and please keep us posted.

In addition there are insurance issues as these are considered business's and I have found that I need to carry a separate Liability policy on each property.My thinking is that it might be simpler to remove the properties from the LLC and carry one large umbrella policy for liability.
