I've seen it from banks on REOs where they just cross everything out and initial it basically saying it's as is and we don't know anything about it.

@Gary LeeAs someone who manages a debt fund- the only time we would do something like that would be if the borrower had significant number of other assets with equity and we would also cross collateralize them and get a personal guarantee.If you have little to no net worth then the answer is no.

yup sounds like you're doing a little bit of cross collateralization with your other properties which is totally fine and can be done . when it comes to condos in miami what you'd really need to find out is if it is a warrantable, non-warrantable or condotel property .

I checked out all the beaches from Sunset to the outer banks and this is what my wife and I surmised: We immediately crossed OBX off our list because it was very far and because of the lack of medical care nearby…you have to think of these things once you have children.

If you cross reference that with the list of neighborhoods qualifying for the tax abatement, you'll have a good start on areas to dig deeper into (depending again on goals and budget; IMO this would be most effective if you're looking to BRRRR or otherwise force equity in neighborhoods that also likely have higher odds for future appreciation than some others).
