Vis a vi the Japanese tenant...

We are now looking to invest in the Japanese real estate market.I would love to meet up and talk real estate with anyone living in, or visiting Hawaii.

Funny, I am a Japanese, living in Japan but investing in the US real estate market.

When it comes to buying and selling, I am told by many to enter as a "principal" only and not a broker/trader; and start doing business with institutional investors for a variety of reasons: their immense access to capital, experience, and even some coaching along the way.

The Japanese government has had decades-long economic stimulus during that period with huge deficits and low interest rates.

Here are the basic facts as I know them.I moved to this part of the country (NW Arkansas) 1.5 years ago following a career on Wall Street as a derivatives trader.

I did get a little boost on that property from the Japanese buying spree in Hawaii in the 80's and the lack of inflation is slowing my snowball growth on appreciation.

@Abe Gonzales  not sure he wants to be a day trader  :)  and sometimes day traders don't have a winning day.
