The problem is real but blaming it only on greedy landlords is not realistic either.

Something doesn't add up from what I'm reading.I applaud your outside the box thinking, but I would suggest that you don't get too greedy or complicate things with this old man, or you're at risk of losing a potential favorable deal. 

My father's gotten very greedy, because he was the next of kin and he wants us kids to just Quit Claim Deed our interest  to him.

and his adoring fans are like:  good for those greedy investors they should lose all their money  he feeds right into that mentality. 

When you call the company you work for evil or greedy while complaining that the best job you could get doesn’t pay enough.

Be fearful when other are greedy and Greedy when others are.... fearful!

We work with hedge funds/private equity groups that are bulk traders / buyers, and banks that are wanting to be bulk sellers of blocks of REO's.

They just got greedy!

As a retiree I have learned that IRA’s and 401K are good for collecting some wealth, but are not good vehicles for bypassing Uncle Sam’s greedy cut at tax time.
