For accredited investors (though not all deals are limited to accredited investors), it's nice to plant those investment 'seeds' across multiple markets, in multiple sectors, getting the upside of appreciation/depreciation/tax advantages/distributions that real estate offers, and passively doing it via syndications is a model that works for many.

@Michael Plante is speaking words of wisdom.I returned all of my inherited tenants security deposits in full because I was happy to get rid of them, I did not know the condition when they moved in, I knew I would be renovating and did I mention that I would be happy to get rid of them!

You may have your own sewage treatment plant .you will need to buy a large tractor with loader, a small dump truck , lawn equipment , golf carts for employees to get around .Build a house or 2 for management to live in .
