Although a bank or insurance company would fit nicely into Berkshire’s existing platform, Canada does have restrictions on foreign ownership of those assets – so my bet would be either an energy or utility-oriented opportunity (plenty of them in Alberta) or perhaps a significant stake in Alimentation Couche-Tard, which owns the Circle K brand and has a significant global presence, potentially meshing nicely with Berkshire’s recent purchase of Pilot Flying J.This year, I had the pleasure of travelling to Omaha with some friends from New York University’s Real Estate Development program and got to catch up with old friends from all over the world.Alas, my favorite Buffett-ism from the meeting was "Understand that the market is there to serve you, not instruct you".

if your brand new using a trusted agent in my mind is the way to go.off market properties are full of wholesalers who have zero fiduciary to you.. most will puff ARV and rehab estimates are WAAAY off to make the deal look good.. they will not give you a property disclosure form that the seller needs to fill out etc etc. 

A grill wil never look brand new, I alway clean our grills when I am at the houses.

The lot has been measured are parted into 5 individual lots for 5 brand new homes.

SEO is more of a "brand recognition" method than a lead generation thing, it will pay off down the road but you'll have to be consistent for 1-2 years before you start to see results...

I bought after reno but added brand new 5 Ton AC unit, dual sets of washer and dryers.Did you work with any real estate professionals (agents, lenders, etc.) that you'd recommend to others?
