The work is semi seasonal as the busy part of the year is January - May and August - October to a lesser extent.

For paint -- right now the walls are painted in either glossy or semi-gloss paint (not an expert yet) over a heavy knockdown texture.

There are certain expectations as far as finish materials granite or quartz counters, semi custom cabinets, gas stainless kitchens real hardwoods, under mount sinks or vessel's.

On the flip side, when selling, short of confirming a showing, your call is not urgent and a same-day response is reasonable.2)  Price drops should happen semi-strategically (at-least for me, we drop on Thursday afternoon so it's on the front page Friday & Saturday).3) Open-houses will rarely sell your house.  

Unless we've gone down the exact path you're thinking of, our input is only semi educated musings. 

Oh, but that would mean sending US dollars to unfriendly or semi-friendly places to deal with their local problems.  

But I'm open to investing in military towns if they also provide jobs in other industries and are semi-diverse.Thanks again.

On the paint, use exterior semi-gloss on all window sills, a washable sheen like interior satin in living and bedrooms.  

You are dealing with a Government entity that at best is semi-responsive.
